TCG Marketplace is a Canadian price-comparison and collection-management platform for trading card game players. Search singles, sealed products, and graded slabs from Canadian stores, compare an entire decklist with Multi-Search, save wishlists, and keep track of the cards you own.

Which games are supported?

Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon TCG, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Star Wars: Unlimited, Flesh and Blood, Union Arena, Gundam, and Riftbound. You can set a preferred game, and it will be remembered on your device.

Does TCG Marketplace sell cards directly?

No. We're a search and comparison tool. Every purchase happens on the store's own website — we just help you find it. Each listing links directly to the store page so you can check out there.

Is the site free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Searching, comparing stores, saving wishlists, and managing your collection are free. You only pay the retailer you choose when you leave TCG Marketplace to make a purchase.

How many stores does TCG Marketplace support?

We currently compare listings from over 170 Canadian game stores. Store coverage varies by game and each retailer's available inventory, and we continue adding more stores over time.

What can I do with Single Card Search?

Accepted Answer

Search for a card across supported Canadian stores and compare price, condition, finish, and availability. You can narrow the results by condition, finish, set, rarity, collector number, vendor, or your favourite stores, then follow a listing directly to the retailer.

How does Sealed Product Search work?

Accepted Answer

Search sealed products such as booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, decks, and special collections across Canadian stores. Choose a game, filter by product category, province, a specific retailer, or your favourite stores, and compare retailers offering the same product.

How does Graded Slab Search work?

Search available professionally graded cards across Canadian stores. Choose a game, then filter by grading company, exact or minimum grade, and price direction. For games with reliable official set data, the set dropdown shows only catalogue sets that actually have matching slabs in stock—never retailer labels such as PSA.

What are favourite stores?

Signed-in users can save up to 25 favourite retailers from Settings. Singles and Sealed search can then be filtered to show only those stores, making it easier to shop with retailers you already know.

Are all prices in Canadian dollars?

Yes. Every price shown is in CAD, pulled from Canadian retailers. No currency conversions, no surprise USD-to-CAD markups at checkout.

Will I get charged duties or cross-border fees?

Accepted Answer

No, as long as you stay on a Canadian store. We only list vendors that ship domestically within Canada, so your order doesn't clear customs and there are no duties or brokerage fees.

How often are prices updated?

Store inventories change often. We refresh listings regularly, but prices can shift between the time you see a listing and the time you check out. If a listing is out of stock or the price has changed when you reach the store, that's the store's live data catching up.

Why does shipping vary between stores?

Accepted Answer

Every store has its own shipping policy, free-shipping threshold, and carrier. We surface card prices; shipping is calculated on the store's own checkout. Using Multi-Search to consolidate a decklist into one or two stores is usually the easiest way to minimize total shipping.

How does Multi-Search work?

Accepted Answer

Paste up to 150 cards, choose your game and minimum condition, and search all supported stores at once. Stores are ranked by how much of your list they carry, with coverage and estimated totals. You can inspect each store's matches, build a store-by-store shopping cart, or open a retailer cart with its available cards preloaded when supported.

What does Optimize cart do?

After searching your list, click Optimize cart to compare Balanced, Lowest card cost, and Fewest stores. Balanced looks for fewer stores within 10% of the lowest card subtotal found. Every plan covers the same quantities and lists any missing copies. You can keep your existing cart selections. Review each store's cards, then choose Use this plan to fill your cart. Totals include supported store discounts and exclude shipping and tax. These are the best plans found among your search results; final prices and availability are confirmed at each store's checkout.

What format does the decklist need to be in?

One card name per line. Quantities in front of a line are fine (e.g. "4 Lightning Bolt"). Lines starting with // are treated as comments and ignored. We match by card name, not by set, so the cheapest matching printing will typically surface first.

Question 17

Does Multi-Search check my Collection?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when you're signed in. If a card from your decklist is already in your Collection, Multi-Search shows a warning with the quantity you own so you can avoid buying unnecessary copies. It does not remove the card automatically, so you stay in control of your list.

What can I do with a Wishlist?

Save a decklist from Multi-Search, give it a name, and reopen it later to compare current prices and store coverage. You can keep editing the list, save your changes, share it with a link, or delete it when you no longer need it.

How many wishlists can I have?

Accepted Answer

Each account can save up to 50 wishlists. If you hit the limit, delete an old one from the Wishlist tab to free up a slot.

Will my wishlists sync between devices?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Wishlists are stored in our database against your account, not in your browser. Sign in on any device — phone, laptop, work computer — and you'll see the same wishlists everywhere.

What can I track in my Collection?

Accepted Answer

Track up to 10,000 card entries across every supported game. Each entry can include the printing and set, condition, finish, quantity, purchase price, and binder. Your Collection also summarizes your card count, estimated amount paid in CAD, and estimated market value in USD for priced Magic and Lorcana printings.

How do I add or import cards?

Add cards individually with the card-printing search, or import a CSV using our template or an export from Collectr, Moxfield, ManaBox, or Archidekt. Collectr files can mix games; rows for games we do not track are skipped. Imported cards can be filed into a selected binder or left unfiled.

How can I organize and find cards in my Collection?

Create binders, search by card name, and filter by binder, game, set, condition, finish, or purchase-price range. You can sort the table and select multiple cards to move them to another binder or remove them together.

Can I export my Collection?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Download your entire Collection, one binder, or only your unfiled cards as a CSV whenever you want a backup or need to use the data elsewhere.

Do I need an account?

An account is optional for Singles, Sealed, Graded Slabs, and Multi-Search. Sign in to save and share wishlists, manage your Collection, choose favourite stores, and keep those features available across your devices.

How do I sign in?

Accepted Answer

Click Sign In in the top-right. You can sign in with an existing email account, create an account, or continue with Google, Microsoft, Discord, or Facebook. Email accounts need a verified inbox before you can sign in. We store your name, email, and avatar when available — never your password in plain text.

Click the logout icon next to your name in the top-right. We invalidate your session immediately.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes — email sales@tcgmarketplace.ca and we will delete your stored profile and the wishlists, collection, binders, and favourite stores tied to it. You can also delete individual wishlists yourself from the Wishlist tab. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.
